Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Diep Van The - Deputy Director of the Provincial Police - emphasized: This peak period has important political and social significance, demonstrating the determination, sense of responsibility and action of the entire Provincial Police force in ensuring traffic safety.
Colonel Diep Van The requested the Traffic Police and the Public Security of units and localities to promote their core role, proactively and effectively implement measures to propagate, patrol, control, and strictly handle violations that are direct causes of traffic accidents.

Notably, on the same morning, the Traffic Police of An Giang Province Police simultaneously launched a campaign in 6 key areas including: Rach Gia, Phu Quoc, Ha Tien, Hon Dat, Long Xuyen and Chau Doc - areas with vibrant traffic, tourism, trade and waterway vehicles. The simultaneous launching activities demonstrate the spirit of determination, synchronization and unity of action of all forces in ensuring traffic safety.
The peak period will be implemented from October 15 to November 30, 2025, focusing on inspecting and strictly handling violations of alcohol concentration, drugs, speed, overloading, exceeding the prescribed number of people, not wearing helmets, violating regulations when participating in waterway traffic... to curb and reduce traffic accidents, creating positive changes in people's awareness of law compliance.

Along with that, the police forces of units and localities will closely coordinate with sectors, unions and people, mobilize the combined strength of the entire political system and society in ensuring traffic safety; strive to reduce traffic accidents, contributing to building a safe, civilized and friendly traffic environment in the province.
