On June 3, in Vinh Thanh Trung commune (An Giang), An Giang Provincial Police; An Giang Provincial Youth Union and Vinh Thanh Trung commune jointly organized the Launching Ceremony of "Digital Summer Campaign with VNeID, digital citizen guidance, accompanying people to implement project 06" in 2026.
Speaking at the launching ceremony, Lieutenant Colonel Truong Van Quoc - Head of the Youth Committee of An Giang Provincial Police - said: The Digital Summer Campaign with VneID, guiding digital citizens, accompanying the People to implement Project 06 is deployed from June to August 2026 at the same time as the deployment of activities of the Youth Volunteer Police Campaign Summer 2026. Through this, in order to promote the role of Youth in participating in digital transformation, determined to effectively implement Project No. 06 of the Government, contributing to the successful implementation of Resolution No. 57 of the Politburo on "Breakthrough in the development of science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation" among the Youth of the People's Police.
At the launching ceremony, the Organizing Committee launched 6 volunteer teams: Digital Citizen Guidance Team; Team to support activation and use of VneID; Team to support issuing ID cards and electronic identification for students; Team to propagate online public services; Team to survey and record people's problems; Team to study digitally on the platform of digital literacy. These are the core forces that will directly deploy activities to support people, propagate laws, digital transformation and accompany people throughout the campaign.
Speaking at the launching ceremony, Lieutenant Colonel Pham Thi Thuy Hang - Head of the Administrative Management Police Department for Social Order of the Provincial Police - expected: each union member and youth participating in the campaign will become a propagandist, a digital guide, directly supporting people in each residential area, each household; helping people understand, know and use the utilities on VNeID proficiently. Each VNeID account used effectively will contribute to forming another digital citizen; each successfully guided citizen will be a nucleus to spread digital transformation in the community.
Immediately after the launching ceremony, the forces organized propaganda about the utilities of the VNeID application, how to use the Public Service Portal of the Ministry of Public Security in the field of administrative management and organized digital literacy training for youth union members, people and students in the commune.
