On June 3, in Vinh Thanh Trung commune, An Giang province, the Youth Committee of An Giang Provincial Police coordinated with Vinh Thanh Trung Commune Youth Union to organize the Launching Ceremony of the "Summer Volunteer Youth Police Campaign" 2026.
Speaking at the launching ceremony, Colonel Le Phu Thanh, Deputy Director of An Giang Provincial Police, emphasized: today's youth projects and tasks not only show the feelings, responsibility, and sharing of the youth of the Provincial Police and units accompanying the people and youth, but also mark the beginning of a series of meaningful and practical activities to celebrate the 13th National Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the People's Security Forces. Thereby, creating an educational environment for revolutionary ideals, ethics, cultural lifestyles and promoting the pioneering, voluntary, and creative role of the youth of the Police in performing the task of protecting national security, ensuring social order and safety, and building the An Giang Police force to be truly clean, strong, regular, elite, and modern, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new situation.
At the launching ceremony, An Giang Provincial Police and accompanying units presented the people of Vinh Thanh Trung commune with social security resources worth 280 million VND; organized medical examinations, free medicine distribution, and gifts for 200 people in difficult circumstances; presented 5 free stone bead surgery sessions (worth 16 million VND each); presented 50 gifts to poor households and 30 scholarships to students in difficult circumstances; presented funding for the youth project "Lighting up rural roads" (worth 29 million VND); presented 500 SIM cards and packages to Vinh Thanh Trung Commune Police...
Also at the launching ceremony, the Organizing Committee launched 7 volunteer teams: Green march team; Exam season support team; Legal propaganda team; Green summer team; Pink vacation team; Red phoenix flower team; Digital literacy team. These are the core forces that will directly deploy social security activities, support people, legal propaganda, digital transformation and accompany young people throughout the campaign.
