According to Secretary of the Bac Lieu Provincial Youth Union Pham Tuan Tai, the focus of the 2025 Youth Festival is many activities such as: Building charity houses; implementing social security projects, taking care of policy families, poor, near-poor households, and households in difficult circumstances, building Charity Houses in response to the movement "Eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses"; continuing to build green trees in response to the Prime Minister's One Billion Green Tree Planting Project. At the same time, continue to carry out digital transformation activities to establish core teams among young people to propagate and guide people in digital transformation; mobilize people to install cashless payment apps in the community, use online public services...
Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of Bac Lieu Provincial People's Committee Ngo Vu Thang praised and highly appreciated the efforts of Bac Lieu Provincial Youth Union at all levels in the past time, which have been united, creative, promoted the spirit of initiative, closely following the political tasks to organize many activities and achieved very encouraging results. The Youth Union movements are increasingly attracting the participation of a large number of union members and young people and leaving good impressions in society, contributing to the overall development of the province.
Vice Chairman of Bac Lieu Provincial People's Committee Ngo Vu Thang suggested that the delegation organizations focus on directing and comprehensively innovating the organization methods, expanding the area for organizing activities during the Youth Month, directing activities to promote knowledge and youth to participate in solving the difficulties of the community. The provincial Youth Union must have orientation for volunteer activities for young people; strengthen the application of digital transformation in connecting, coordinating, and managing volunteer activities and young people participating in volunteer activities in the province.
At the ceremony, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and the Provincial Education Promotion Association presented 70 scholarships (each worth 1 million VND) to students in difficult circumstances; Hoa Binh District Party Committee presented a charity house worth 60 million VND to union members and young people in difficult circumstances in the district; Hoa Binh District People's Committee presented a children's playground worth 60 million VND...
In addition, the Bac Lieu Provincial Youth Union has strongly mobilized donors to support 200 million VND to build a road-to-road traffic bridge in Giong Tra Hamlet (Vinh Hau A Commune, Hoa Binh District); presented 1,000 national flags worth 30 million VND to the Hoa Binh District Youth Union to build the national flag road.
