Arrest of 2 subjects for possessing 11 packages of drugs in the Hai Phong coastal border area

    Hai Phong - Hai Phong Border Guard has just arrested 2 subjects for drug trafficking in the coastal border area.

    At 9:00 p.m. on August 28, at Dong Phong residential group, Nam Do Son ward, the Department of Professional Affairs of the City Border Guard Command in coordination with Do Son Border Guard Station caught Nguyen Khac Trung (born in 1988, hometown Nghe An province, registered to reside in Dong Phong residential group, Nam Do Son ward, Hai Phong) and Lai Van Duc (born in 1994, hometown Nghe An province, registered to reside in Pegatron dormitory, Dong Hai ward, Hai Phong) for illegally storing 11 plastic bags containing drugs.

    Through the examination, the Criminal Techniques Department, City Police concluded that all the evidence seized was heroin, weighing 3.68 grams.

    Currently, the City Border Guard Command is coordinating with relevant agencies to continue investigating, verifying, and clarifying the subject's violation to strictly handle it according to the provisions of the law.
