On August 24, the Border Guard Command of Quang Ngai province said that the unit had just coordinated with functional forces to arrest a subject for illegal drug trafficking.
Previously, at 12:15 on August 23, at a motel in Chien Chiet village (Bo Y commune, border area), the Border Guard of Quang Ngai province coordinated with the Central Special Task Force (Drug Prevention and Control and Crime), Dak Xu Border Guard Station, Bo Y International Border Guard Station, Dak Long Border Guard Station, PC04 Department (Quang Ngai Provincial Police) and Bo Y Commune Police to catch Ha Van Tho (born in 1983, residing in Dak Aak village, Dak Long commune, Quang Ngai) red-handed while illegally buying and selling drugs.
The seized exhibits included 1kg of synthetic drugs in the form of rocks, 1 motorbike and 1 mobile phone.
At the authorities, Ha Van Tho stated that he took these drugs to sell to a man of Lao nationality, of unknown origin.
The case is being handled by the Quang Ngai Provincial Border Guard in coordination with relevant units according to the law.
