Homemade firecrackers explode, a student in Quang Ngai dies
A student in Quang Ngai died after making homemade firecrackers at home. The incident happened on the afternoon of January 20. The victim was taken to the emergency room but did not survive.
On the afternoon of January 20, Mr. Tra Thanh Danh - Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ngai City informed that in Tinh Khe commune, Quang Ngai City, a homemade firecracker explosion had just occurred, killing a student.
"According to initial verification by authorities, the incident occurred while the victim was making fireworks at home," said the Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ngai City.

Big fire at wood company in Binh Duong
The fire broke out at around 11am on January 20 at a wood manufacturing company on An Phu 19 Street, Binh Chuan Ward, Thuan An City, Binh Duong Province. Initial information shows that at that time, people saw smoke and fire rising from a factory of hundreds of square meters.
Local people tried to put out the fire with local equipment but were unsuccessful. The factory contained many flammable materials, so the fire quickly flared up and spread. The incident was then reported to the authorities.

Police work with people who arbitrarily adjust traffic lights in Ho Chi Minh City
