The working group of the Economic Police Department of Ha Tinh Provincial Police in coordination with Duc Minh Commune Police has just discovered a steel coil ship with the registration number NA-2599 illegally mining sand on La River, passing through Van Khang village, Duc Minh commune, Ha Tinh province.
During the inspection, the authorities identified Vo Van Tuan (born in 1984, residing in Duc Tho commune) as the driver of the vehicle and Cao Van Hung (born in 1982, residing in Duc Minh commune) as the person accompanying him.
At the time of work, both people could not present any relevant documents or records proving that the sand mining was licensed by a competent authority.
The working group has drawn up a record and temporarily detained the NA-2599 steel coil ship and about 18m3 of sand sucked from the riverbed for handling according to regulations.
