At 7:10 p.m. on July 7, based on local people's information, Viet Yen Commune Police conducted an inspection of a suspect in Lai Trach village.
Through verification, the authorities discovered and caught Pham Van Hau (born in 1972, permanent residence in Van Minh village, Muong Bu commune, Muong La district, Son La province; currently residing in Mau Luong village, Dai Dong commune, Hung Yen province) illegally possessing drugs.
At the scene, the police seized 2 small white paper packages containing powder suspected to be drugs. Through examination, it was determined that this was heroin, with a total weight of 0.719 grams. The subject confessed that he bought it for use.
The seized exhibits include: 2 packages of heroin, 1 blue Honda Vision motorbike and 1 blue Masstel mobile phone.
Currently, the case is being further investigated by the Viet Yen Commune Police, completing the file to handle according to the provisions of law.
