Arresting a teenager transporting more than 98 grams of drugs in Gia Lai

Gia Lai - Police caught a teenager red-handed transporting more than 98 grams of various types of drugs disguised in styrofoam boxes containing fresh oranges.

On June 16, the Investigation Police Agency of Gia Lai Provincial Police said that it had initiated a criminal case and prosecuted the defendant Le Van Ngh. (born in 2009, residing in Phu My Tay commune) to investigate the act of Illegally transporting drugs.

According to initial information, at noon on June 10, on Nguyen Thi Minh Khai street (Phu My commune), the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department of the Provincial Police in coordination with Phu My Commune Police discovered and caught Ngh. red-handed transporting illegal drugs.

To evade functional forces, Ngh. hid drugs under the bottom of a styrofoam box, covered with fresh oranges on top. Through inspection, the police force seized more than 98 grams of various types of drugs.

At the investigating agency, Ngh. confessed that he was hired by a stranger of unknown origin to transport the above drugs and would receive a commission after successful delivery. The process of contact and exchange was carried out through social networks.

Currently, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department of Gia Lai Provincial Police is continuing to consolidate the file, expand the investigation of the case and handle related subjects according to the provisions of law.
