On the afternoon of August 26, the Department of Agriculture and Environment of An Giang province just organized a conference to receive and hand over the project "Population route, population arrangement in the border area of An Giang province" to the Border Guard of An Giang province for management and coordination implementation.
At the handover ceremony, representatives of the Department of Agriculture and Environment informed about the implementation process, the current status of the residential line, and the arrangement of residents in the border area. At the same time, relevant dossiers and documents were handed over to the Provincial Border Guard. The handover content focused on the current status of infrastructure, residential areas, the arrangement situation of households and issues that need to be further coordinated to resolve in the coming time.
The handover aims to strengthen coordination between agencies and units in managing and effectively exploiting residential areas in border areas. Creating conditions for people to feel secure in living, developing the economy, well complying with the Party's guidelines, policies and laws of the State, and at the same time actively participating with the Border Guard force in protecting border lines, national border markers and maintaining security and order in the area.
Speaking at the handover ceremony, Colonel Pham Van Thang, Commander of An Giang Provincial Border Guard Command emphasized: This is a major policy of the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee, so after receiving it, the unit will proactively coordinate with local Party committees, authorities and functional sectors to firmly grasp the population and local situation. Continue to coordinate, discuss, and remove difficulties and obstacles to soon successfully implement the Project. Propagate and mobilize people to understand more about the meaning and effect of the Project implementation, so that all people can well implement the provisions of the law, build a cultural life, develop production and participate in protecting sovereignty and border security.
The Provincial Border Guard Command also determined that the management and effective promotion of the border residential line in the future will not only contribute to stabilizing people's lives but also create a solid all-people border defense posture. Through this, each household living in the border area becomes a "livable milestone", together with the Border Guard force and local authorities, building an increasingly stable, developed, and strong border area.
In the coming time, units will continue to strengthen information exchange, coordinate inspection and review of difficulties and obstacles arising in the process of managing and deploying residential areas. Promptly advise competent authorities on appropriate solutions to ensure that residential areas and population arrangements in border areas are strictly managed and used effectively, serving socio-economic development goals associated with consolidating national defense and security and firmly protecting national border sovereignty.
