On April 2, Quang Tri Border Guard said that the Border Guard and Police have just coordinated to arrest a subject for illegal possession of drugs in the border area.
Previously, at 8:20 p.m. on March 31, at Tan Kim Hamlet (Lao Bao Town, Huong Hoa District, Quang Tri Province), the forces under the Quang Tri Border Guard coordinated with the PC04 Department of the Provincial Police and the Lao Bao Town Police to catch Thai Ngoc Hung (born in 1994, residing in Tan Kim Hamlet, Lao Bao Town) red-handed for the act of "Illegal possession of narcotics".
At the scene, the force coordinated to seize evidence including 600 cylindrical tablets, pink and blue, suspected to be synthetic drugs.
Through investigation, Hung confessed that the above tablets were synthetic drugs.
Hung bought drugs from an unidentified person for 4.5 million VND for the purpose of using for himself.
