On the morning of April 28, Ha Giang province organized the announcement of the decision to merge press agencies and the work of organizing the apparatus and staff.

Ha Giang province has decided to merge Ha Giang Newspaper and Ha Giang Provincial Radio and Television Station into Ha Giang Newspaper.

Mr. Nguyen Trung Thu - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Ha Giang Newspaper was assigned and appointed to the position of Editor-in-Chief of Ha Giang Newspaper.

Ha Giang Newspaper after the merger is a public service unit under the Ha Giang Provincial Party Committee. The organizational structure after the merger includes 1 Editorial board and 9 subordinate departments, 4 Deputy editors-in-Chief. After the merger, 1 public service unit was reduced, 7 department-level units were reduced, reaching a rate of 43.75%.

The Standing Committee of the Ha Giang Provincial Party Committee also decided to transfer Ms. Hoang Thi Hang from the position of Director of Ha Giang PT-TH Station to the position of Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department.

Provincial Party Secretary Hau A Lenh suggested that after the merger, Ha Giang Newspaper urgently stabilize facilities, working conditions, stabilize the ideology and spirit of the team of civil servants and public employees. Along with that, the implementation of the work of streamlining the apparatus must be truly objective and transparent.
