Thu Duc City proposes to merge 34 wards to 12 new wards
The People's Committee of Thu Duc City has just submitted to the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City Report No. 112/TTr-UBND on the plan of arranging administrative units at all levels and building a model of organization of local government 2 levels.
Currently, Thu Duc City has a population of 1,374,739 people, with an average density of 6,497 people/km². The city has 34 wards and 644 neighborhoods.
It is expected that the plan to merge 34 administrative units of the ward of Thu Duc Thanh City 12 ward administrative units.
