Coast Guard Region 4 Command meets on Vietnamese Doctors' Day

Coast Guard Region 4 Command organized a meeting and congratulated officers and staff of the Military Medical sector working at the unit on the occasion of Vietnamese Doctors' Day.

On February 26, in Phu Quoc special zone, An Giang province, the Party Committee and Heads of Coast Guard Region 4 Command organized a meeting to congratulate cadres and staff of the Military Medical sector working at the unit on the occasion of the 71st anniversary of Vietnamese Doctors' Day (February 27, 1955 – February 27, 2026).

At the meeting, on behalf of the Party Committee and the Head of the Region Command, Colonel Nguyen Thai Duong - Deputy Political Commissar of Coast Guard Region 4 Command presented flowers to congratulate and sent to all officers and staff of the Military Medical sector sincere greetings, wishes for health, happiness and success.

Speaking to congratulate, the Deputy Political Commissar emphasized: In the specific conditions of the unit performing tasks at sea, regularly operating for long days, far from the shore, facing big waves, strong winds and many complex factors, military medical assurance work is extremely important. Over the past time, the team of cadres and military medical staff of the Region has always upheld the spirit of responsibility, proactively advised and organized the effective implementation of the work of caring for and protecting the health of soldiers; maintained strict professional discipline; ensured good medicine and medical equipment; ready for emergency care and treatment in all situations, not to be passive or surprised.

Comrade praised the spirit of dedication and wholeheartedly for soldiers of cadres and military medical staff in the Regional Command, contributing to maintaining the healthy troop ratio, improving the overall quality and combat strength of the unit, ensuring that the unit successfully completes the task of protecting sovereignty and enforcing the law in the Southwest sea area of the Fatherland.

The Deputy Political Commissar requested that in the coming time, cadres and staff of the Military Medical sector continue to thoroughly grasp the political tasks of the unit; constantly study, train, improve professional qualifications, medical ethics and political bravery; promote the noble qualities of "Doctors are like mothers", unite, be responsible, creative, and excellently complete all assigned tasks, worthy of the trust of the Party Committee, Head of the Regional Command and officers and soldiers throughout the unit.

On behalf of officers and staff of the Military Medical sector, the Head of the Military Medical Department of Coast Guard Region 4 Command expressed his emotion and respectfully thanked the Party Committee and Heads of the Region Command for their concern; and affirmed that they will continue to promote the good traditions of the sector, strive to improve the quality of work in caring for and protecting the health of soldiers, contributing to building a comprehensively strong, exemplary and typical unit.
