On October 21, in response to the complicated developments of storm No. 12, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province issued an urgent dispatch requesting departments, branches, sectors and localities in the province to proactively monitor and respond to storm No. 12.
The Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province requested the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, socio-political organizations and localities in the province to regularly closely monitor the developments of the storm. The key task is to promptly and widely inform people and businesses, especially ship owners and captains operating at sea, to proactively prevent and ensure safety.

The Department of Agriculture and Environment directs its affiliated units to inspect the entire system of sewers, dams, and pumping stations, thereby coordinating with local authorities to operate reasonably and effectively to protect production; inspect sea dykes, especially vulnerable locations, prepare forces, materials, and means to handle incidents at the first hour; coordinate with the Department of Industry and Trade and relevant units and localities to inform and instruct investors and construction units, especially coastal works, on islands to take measures to prevent and respond to storms and minimize damage.
The Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province requested the Provincial Military Command to coordinate with the Department of Agriculture and Environment, People's Committees of coastal communes and wards to notify vehicles operating at sea of the location, direction of movement, and developments of the storm to proactively avoid, escape or not move into dangerous areas; regularly maintain contact with captains of vehicles; prepare forces and means for rescue when situations and requests arise.
At the same time, the People's Committees of communes and wards regularly inspect and monitor the area, direct and guide people to implement appropriate solutions to prevent and limit damage caused by natural disasters; be ready to deploy plans and response plans according to the level of natural disaster risk; mobilize all sea floor watchmen to proactively go ashore to take shelter.
