On June 5, Lao Cai Provincial Police said that Phong Hai Commune Police had just praised two students for their beautiful actions when they picked up property and proactively handed it over to functional agencies to return it to the person who dropped it.
Previously, at about 12:00 on June 4, Phong Hai Commune Police received a report from Mr. Nguyen Minh Giang (born 1992, residing in hamlet 2, Phong Hai commune) about dropping a Nagakawa brand air conditioner unit during transportation on National Highway 70.
According to the report, property was lost on the road section from Km20 in Tong Gia village to Km25 in hamlet 1, Phong Hai commune.

Immediately after receiving the information, Phong Hai Commune Police quickly deployed forces to verify, search along the road and organize a search for property.
At about 4 pm on the same day, the police force determined that the property had been picked up by two students, Ly Trung Hieu and Tran Anh Vu (both born in 2009, students of Bao Thang High School No. 3) and handed over to functional agencies.
Through verification, after discovering the air conditioner rack falling on the roadside, the two children proactively brought the property to report, coordinating with the Commune Police to find the person who lost it.
The actions of the two students are considered a beautiful gesture, showing the spirit of honesty, responsibility and civic consciousness of youth in daily life.
After completing the verification procedures, Phong Hai Commune Police handed over the property to Ms. Dao Thi Hoa (born 1992, residing in hamlet 2, Phong Hai commune), who is Mr. Nguyen Minh Giang's wife.
Receiving the lost property back, Mr. Giang's family expressed their emotion and thanked the Phong Hai Commune Police force and two students for their dedicated support and help in finding the property.
According to Phong Hai Commune Police, the actions of Ly Trung Hieu and Tran Anh Vu are bright examples of honesty, responsibility and community awareness, which need to be praised and replicated.
Through the incident, the Police force also encourages people when they pick up other people's property to proactively hand it over to functional agencies or find ways to contact and return it to the owner, contributing to building a civilized and meaningful living environment and maintaining security and order in the locality.
