Of which, children aged 6 to 9 months are 2,445 children; children aged 1 to 5 are 2,790 children and children aged 6 to 10 are 3,914.
From 1.1 to March 31, the whole Hai Duong province recorded 304 cases of measles, no death cases (in the same period in 2024, no cases of cases). Hai Duong City has the highest number of 149 cases, followed by Kinh Mon town with 27 cases. Other localities have 4-23 cases. Children under 9 months of measles have 73 cases (accounting for 24%); In which, children from 6 to less than 9 months accounted for 17.1%; 158 cases from 1-10 years old (accounting for 51.9%); 16.4% of cases over 10 years old.
Most cases of measles are due to not being fully vaccinated with two doses of vaccine (accounting for 89.8%), of which 24% are not old enough to be vaccinated and 52.6% are not vaccinated.

Hai Duong has recorded 3 measles outbreaks. At the outbreak of Phung Van Trinh Primary School (Dong Lac commune, Nam Sach district), from March 20-28, 5 cases of measles were recorded. Most children have not been vaccinated against measles (4/5 children). There are currently 4 patients being treated at the District Health Center and 1 patient being monitored and treated at home.
The second epidemic was discovered at Hong Lac Secondary School (Thanh Ha District), from March 23-31, 7 cases were recorded. There are 1/7 cases that have not been vaccinated and 6/7 cases have been vaccinated with 2 doses of vaccine containing measles.
Currently, there is 1 patient being treated at Hai Duong Provincial Children's Hospital, 4 patients being treated at the District Health Center and 2 patients being monitored and treated at home.
"The third epidemic was at Thanh Tan Secondary School, Thanh Ha district (11 cases). From March 25 to now, no new cases have been recorded. Currently, the patients have recovered from their illness and their health is stable.
In 2024, Hai Duong organized a measles vaccination campaign for 20,217 children aged 1-5 (reaching 98.77% of the plan) and 1,425 medical staff at risk.
