Hai Duong Provincial Police have just assessed the situation and results of ensuring traffic order and safety in the province in the first months of the year, especially after implementing activities according to the new organizational model from March 1.
According to the Traffic Police Department of Hai Duong province, in the first quarter of 2025, the Traffic Police force discovered and fined 14,340 cases, fined VND 47,512,365,000; revoked 1,828 driving licenses, deducted points from 1,402 cases, temporarily detained 3,788 vehicles (including 231 cars, 3,170 motorbikes and 387 other vehicles); in particular, handling violations related to school age, detected and fined 840 cases of students violating traffic, fined VND 872 million.
However, the situation of traffic safety and order in the province continues to have complicated developments, the number of traffic accidents still occurs, especially on national and provincial highways, from 6pm to 24am and from 6am to 12pm.Regarding the reason, in addition to the limited awareness of traffic participation of a part of the people, the skills of driving vehicles are still weak...
The Director of Hai Duong Provincial Police requested to focus on immediate work, closely coordinate with relevant units to effectively implement the plan of the Provincial People's Committee on building National Highway 5 through the province into a safe traffic route; advise on adjusting traffic organization on some routes, especially on National Highway 5 to maximize the efficiency of existing infrastructure; review "black" points, points, and areas with potential risks of accidents to propose early solutions.
Regularly advise Traffic Safety Committees at all levels to direct, guide, and organize corridor clearance, focus on selecting locations, sections, routes, and areas at risk of insecurity, routes preparing for investment in renovation, upgrading, and repair to implement complete clearance; advise on proposed investment sources to complete the system of signs and surveillance cameras to serve state management of traffic order and safety.
The patrol, control and handling of violations by the Traffic Police force must be conducted with focus and key points, focusing on target groups, specific routes and areas, focusing on violations that are direct causes of traffic accidents, in which data from journey monitoring devices and cameras must be thoroughly exploited to cool down violations.
