Recently, the Youth Union of Kien Giang Provincial Police coordinated with Kien Giang General Hospital to organize the first voluntary blood donation in 2025.
Lieutenant Colonel Truong Van Quoc, Head of the Youth Union of Kien Giang Provincial Police, said that in addition to its profound humanitarian significance, the program also contributes to spreading the image of People's Police soldiers who are closely attached to the people, always ready to support and serve the community with the motto "Give the drop of peach blood - give life".
This is an annual activity in response to the National Voluntary Blood Donation Day, while raising awareness of officers and soldiers about the importance of donating blood to save lives.
The program has collected 324 units of blood and will transfer them to Kien Giang General Hospital to serve emergency care and treatment for patients, especially in emergency cases.

Voluntary blood donation activities also help officers and soldiers of Kien Giang Provincial Police strengthen the spirit of solidarity and cohesion between units and build a beautiful image of the dedicated police force, serving the people. This is one of the outstanding activities in volunteer and social work that officers and soldiers of the Kien Giang Provincial Police force actively participate in, contributing to the overall development of the community.
