On August 17, according to information from the Dong Thap Provincial Police website, Thuong Lac Ward Police organized a return of the stolen motorbike to Mr. Vo Van Tam (37 years old, residing in Thuong Lac Ward, Dong Thap Province).
Previously, at around 2:30 a.m. on July 10, 2025, Mr. Tam parked a motorbike on the edge of a rice field in Cau Muong hamlet (Thuong Lac ward, Dong Thap province) to visit the fields. At around 4am the same day, he discovered the car was missing.
Immediately after receiving the report, Thuong Lac Ward Police deployed professional measures, directing the Crime Prevention Police Team to quickly investigate and arrest Cao Van Linh (25 years old, residing in Thuong Lac Ward, Dong Thap Province), and at the same time seized the stolen motorbike.
Working with the police, Linh confessed that he took advantage of loopholes when there was no one to look after his property to secretly steal the motorbike. Thuong Lac Ward Police coordinated with the professional unit to conduct an investigation, consolidate the case file and return the property to Mr. Tam.
Currently, Thuong Lac Ward Police are continuing to investigate and complete the file to handle Linh according to the provisions of the law.
