On June 25, Dak Cam Ward Police received 3 turtle individuals voluntarily handed over by Mr. Vo Thanh Long to hand over to functional agencies for rescue and conservation according to regulations.

Previously, during the movement in the area of village 7, Dak Cam ward, Mr. Long discovered 3 turtles, so he proactively brought them to the Ward Police headquarters to hand over.
Through inspection and verification, functional forces determined that this is a border mountain turtle (Manouria impressa), belonging to a group of rare wild animals with biodiversity conservation value.
At the time of receipt, all 3 turtle individuals were in stable health. Dak Cam Ward Police have completed the procedures according to regulations, made a record and handed them over to the forest rangers to continue rescue, management and handling according to the provisions of law.
Mr. Vo Thanh Long's voluntary handover of wildlife contributes to improving the effectiveness of wildlife protection and biodiversity conservation, while spreading awareness of law compliance in the community.
