On May 22, Quang Phu Ward Police, Da Nang City, in coordination with the People's Procuracy of Region 5, organized a program to protect the civil rights of vulnerable people at the Kack Hyun Elderly Care Center (Quang Phu ward, Da Nang city).
The activity is implemented according to Resolution No. 205/2025/QH15 of the National Assembly on piloting the People's Procuracy to initiate civil cases to protect the civil rights of vulnerable groups or protect public interests.


At the program, officers and soldiers of Quang Phu Ward Police directly guided and collected 45 ID card applications; and at the same time activated and created level 2 electronic identification accounts for the elderly and vulnerable people being cared for at the center.
Dossiers are made right at the residence, helping the elderly and people with difficult travel accessing public services, digital utilities and essential administrative procedures without having to travel far.
Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Tuan, Head of Quang Phu Ward Police, said that not only stopping at activities at the center, in the past time, the Ward Police have organized many trips to homes of lonely elderly people, disabled children, people who do not have the conditions to travel to collect ID cards and support activation of level 2 electronic identification.
To date, the unit has supported more than 200 cases, contributing to ensuring the legitimate rights and interests of people, especially vulnerable people in the digital transformation process.

Also at the program, representatives of the People's Procuracy of Region 5 presented gifts and propagated the basic contents of Resolution No. 205/2025/QH15; and listened to the thoughts and aspirations of the elderly at the center to promptly support and protect civil rights for vulnerable groups.
Mobifone network operator also participates in supporting free SIM cards for the elderly, making the activation and use of electronic identification accounts more convenient.
Coordination activities between the Police force and the Procuracy sector are not only associated with administrative reform and digital transformation but also demonstrate social responsibility in caring for and protecting the elderly and vulnerable, so that no one is left behind.
