During the patrol and control tasks to ensure traffic safety and order on National Highway 21B, the working group of the Road Traffic Police Team No. 10, Traffic Police Department - Hanoi City Police, led by Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Quang Huy - Deputy Captain of Traffic Police Team No. 10, coordinated with Dan Hoa Commune Police to successfully arrest a subject for illegal drug trafficking.
At about 9:30 p.m. on August 5, 2025, when discovering a subject driving a motorbike with license plate: 29T1-191.xx traveling to the road connecting National Highway 21B with Cienco5 route with suspicious signs, the working group coordinated with the police force of Dan Hoa commune to intercept and control Nguyen Duy Truong (born in 1977, residing in Dan Hoa commune, Hanoi) to headquarters to clarify.
During the search, the authorities seized 6 pink tablets, suspected to be synthetic drugs. All exhibits have been sealed to serve the appraisal work.
Previously, Dan Hoa Commune Police arrested 4 subjects for illegal possession of drugs. Through expanded investigation, these subjects confessed to having purchased drugs from Truong. It is known that Nguyen Duy Truong is a drug addict with many previous convictions.
The case is being further investigated by the Dan Hoa Commune Police, consolidating the case file and handling it according to the provisions of law.
