The police of Kien Giang province has just announced the public phone number of hotline to receive feedback and recommendations of organizations and individuals causing environmental pollution in the province.
Recently, under the direction of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee and the police have strengthened the inspection, struggle and handling of environmental violations and propaganda to raise the awareness of environmental law observance for organizations, individuals and people, achieve positive results.
However, there are still a number of establishments that have not strictly complied with the law on environmental protection, and still wake up the exhaust state of environmental pollution, violate regulations on waste treatment, food hygiene and safety.
From the above situation, on 11.3.2025, the provincial police issued Plan No. 86/KH-Cat-PV01 on the total review and struggle to handle crimes, violations of the law and advise the settlement of facilities causing serious environmental pollution, areas and locations of environmental pollution.
