At the 6th National Mycology Conference held on November 8, Mr. Le Duc Vien - Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Da Nang City - said that the center is synchronously deploying a system of facilities according to international standards, including specialized laboratories, GMP-standard pilot production workshops, ecological - agricultural experimental areas and a center for research on the application of digital technology in biology.
The system is specifically designed to shorten the time from research to product commercialization, while optimizing costs for startups, businesses and scientists.
“With modern infrastructure, a team of experienced experts and a network of international partners, the center is a reliable destination for scientists, businesses, startups and investors in the fields of biotechnology, processing technology, medicine - pharmacy, agriculture - forestry - fishery, ecology - environment, and new materials,” Mr. Vien affirmed.
The 6th National Mycology Conference was organized by the Vietnam Mycology Association in collaboration with the Danang Biotechnology Center in Danang with the theme "Updating trends - Connecting experts - Promoting innovation".
The conference is a prestigious international scientific forum, gathering scientists, technologists, and leading experts in the field of mycology from research institutes, prestigious universities, domestic and international businesses and managers.
The conference attracted experts with many scientific reports, focusing on key topics such as conservation of fungal biodiversity, sustainable industrial applications of fungi, development of high-value mushroom products and prevention of fungal diseases.
