Within the framework of the 29th Busan International Film Festival (BIFF, held from October 2-11 in Busan, Korea), the Vietnam Film Promotion Association (VFDA) in coordination with the People's Committees of the provinces/cities: Da Nang, Ninh Binh, Phu Yen, Quang Ninh, and member companies of VFDA opened the Vietnam - DANAFF (Asian Film Festival - Da Nang) booth at the Asian Film and Content Market (ACFM).
This is one of the promotional activities for the 2025 Da Nang Asian Film Festival scheduled to take place at the end of June 2025 in Da Nang City.
Vietnam's booth attracted the attention of visitors as well as film industry professionals from Korea and other countries participating in the Fair. Da Nang is one of the favorite destinations of Korean people and was also chosen as the filming location for a number of foreign films, including Korea's "Taxi Driver 2".
At the booth, Da Nang City introduced the city's natural beauty, outstanding architectural works, information about the city's cultural and tourism development, especially the attractive activities expected to be held in the 3rd Da Nang Asian Film Festival in 2025.
Also at the booth, the localities also want to introduce to international filmmakers and producers attending this Busan Film Festival the famous landscapes of Vietnam - potential filming locations.
The Asian Film and Content Market is an annual event that takes place 27 times, within the framework of the Busan International Film Festival. This event creates a bridge between filmmakers, experts, scriptwriters, content, producers, distributors and film distributors around the world.
