CPV Food Co., Ltd. - a member of C.P. Vietnam Livestock Joint Stock Company under C.P Group, welcomed this international quality certification, an event that marked a new step in applying global food management standards in Vietnam.
The highlight of the program is that CPV Food Binh Phuoc Complex became the first unit in Vietnam and outside Thailand, and also the second unit in the entire CPF system to achieve CPF Food Standard certification.
This is an integrated quality standard system built by CPF to standardize the entire production chain according to the Feed - Farm - Food model, from animal feed, breeds, farms to slaughtering and food processing.
Certified by the British Standards Institute (BSI) participating in building the standard framework, independently evaluating and certifying. This system integrates many international standards such as HACCP, ISO 9001, ISO 22000, BRC..., contributing to improving transparency, traceability and quality synchronization throughout the production chain.
CPV Food Binh Phuoc Complex with a total investment of about 250 million USD is currently a key production platform of C.P. Vietnam, supplying processed chicken products to many markets such as Japan, Singapore and Hong Kong (China).
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Wirat Wongpornpakdee - Deputy General Director of C.P. Vietnam said: "Achieving the CPF Food Standard certification is an important milestone in the journey to improve C.P. Vietnam's food production standards. We are constantly striving to ensure that domestic consumers can access safe, quality and clearly sourced products; and at the same time gradually improve the opportunities of processed foods in Vietnam in the international market.
At the same time, CPV Food also announced the "3 Safetys" program, including: Safety for consumer health, Safety in the production chain and Safety from standard suppliers.
According to businesses, through the Feed - Farm - Food model, the entire process from input materials to finished products is strictly controlled to ensure quality, safety and sustainable development.
