On the morning of April 18, the People's Committee of Cua Lo ward organized the launching ceremony "For a green - clean - beautiful Cua Lo sea environment" in a lively atmosphere, attracting a large number of officials, people and forces to participate.
This is one of the activities in response to the Cua Lo Tourism Festival "Four seasons of sea calling", contributing to spreading the message of protecting the marine tourism environment.
Speaking at the ceremony, ward leaders emphasized the particularly important role of the sea and ocean for life and socio-economic development. For Cua Lo, the sea is not only a natural resource but also a brand, a foundation for tourism development in a sustainable direction.
Notably, the recognition of Cua Lo as an ASEAN clean coastal city at the ASEAN Tourism Forum (ATF 2026) is not only a source of pride but also sets higher requirements in environmental management and preservation, especially in the context of the increasing number of tourists.

At the launching ceremony, the Ward People's Committee called on officials, people, businesses and tourists to raise awareness of environmental protection by specific actions such as strengthening collection, sorting, and treatment of waste. At the same time, promote propaganda and mobilization to build a civilized and environmentally friendly lifestyle in the community.
Immediately after the launching ceremony, the Organizing Committee presented trash cans to Cua Lo Urban Environment and Tourism Services Joint Stock Company; and mobilized union members, youth, and people to participate in collecting garbage along the beach, contributing to cleaning up the marine environment and creating a beautiful image in the eyes of tourists.
This activity is expected to continue to strongly spread the spirit of joining hands to protect the environment, maintain the image of Cua Lo being green - clean - beautiful, towards sustainable tourism development.
