At 4:30 p.m. on September 1, the Cua Lo - Ben Thuy Port Border Guard Station, Nghe An Border Guard received a report in the sea area near VISSAI port, about 500m from the port, the fishermen discovered a small boat capsized.
Around the boat, there were some personal items, no crew members were found.
Through verification, it was determined that the victim was a male, born in 1980, with permanent residence in block 1 Nghi Thu, Cua Lo ward, Nghe An province.
The Cua Lo - Ben Thuy Port Border Guard Station used a canoe and 4 officers to coordinate with fishermen's vehicles to conduct a search at sea around the area where the vehicle was found to have overturned. At the same time, a working group was dispatched to coordinate with the victim's family and the locality to organize a search along the coastal area of Hai Loc commune.
Forces are still actively searching for missing victims.
