The Fire and Rescue Police Department of Da Nang City Police has just coordinated with Vietcombank Nam Da Nang Branch to organize propaganda and drills on fire fighting and rescue plans for officials and employees working at the unit.
At the program, officers of Firefighting and Rescue Team No. 2 disseminate basic knowledge about fire prevention and fighting; guide skills in handling fires and explosions; how to use fire extinguishers and on-site fire fighting equipment.

Bank officials and employees are also directly trained in simulated situations, thereby improving escape skills, handling initial incidents and coordinating with functional forces when fires and explosions occur.
According to the simulated situation, the fire originated from an electrical short circuit in the office on the 2nd floor of the bank. Because there were many papers, synthetic plastic and electronic equipment in the area, the fire quickly spread, creating a lot of smoke, causing danger to people in the building.
At the time of the fire, it was assumed that about 35 people were working in the building, of which 9 people were trapped due to smoke covering. Immediately after detecting the incident, the grassroots Fire Prevention and Fighting force deployed initial firefighting, guided people inside to escape and called the Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Police force via 114.
Plans to rescue people, prevent fire spread, move property and ensure safety in the area are being urgently deployed. The drill helps bank officials and employees better understand the process of handling fires and explosions, especially in a working environment with many electronic devices, records, papers and potential risks of fire and explosion safety.
