The event attracted nearly 1,600 athletes from 122 teams of police units and localities.
The sports festival takes place over many days, including 4 sports with 27 competition contents. Two application-oriented sports include military shooting and healthy police officers. Two mass sports are freestyle swimming and pickleball. The contents are built closely to practical requirements, combining physical training and professional skills.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, a representative of the Organizing Committee said that the sports festival aims to assess the quality of military training, martial arts and sports in the entire force. This is also an opportunity to check the combat readiness capacity, discipline and style of officers and soldiers.
Through the competition results, the City Police force will select typical individuals to continue training and participate in higher-level sports events. This contributes to improving the quality of human resources, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new situation.
