Da Nang - On November 7, the City's Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Search and Rescue and Civil Defense issued a dispatch to respond to storm Yinxing.

According to the Central Central Region Hydrometeorological Station, storm Yinxing is active in the sea northeast of Luzon Island (Philippines).

At 7:00 a.m. on November 7, the center of the storm was at approximately 18.5 degrees North latitude; 123.1 degrees East longitude, in the sea northeast of Lu Dong island. The strongest wind near the center of the storm was level 15, gusting to level 17. Moving in the West Northwest direction, at a speed of 5-10 km/h. It is forecasted that on November 8, the storm will enter the East Sea at level 13, gusting to level 16.

To proactively respond to the storm and minimize damage caused by natural disasters, the Head of the City's Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Search and Rescue and Civil Defense, Directors of departments, branches and sectors and Chairmen of People's Committees of districts; heads of agencies and units proactively organize to closely monitor forecast information and developments of storm Yinxing; promptly direct and deploy response work.

The City Border Guard Command promptly informs owners of vehicles and boats operating at sea of ​​the location, direction of movement and developments of the storm so that they can proactively avoid it; escape from or not enter dangerous areas; "call" on boats to urgently come ashore or find safe shelter.

Organize the counting, strictly manage and maintain communication with vessels still operating at sea; focus on guiding and urging fishing vessels to immediately leave dangerous areas; regularly report the situation of vessels to the Command Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Search and Rescue and Civil Defense of the city.

The City Police Department coordinates with the City Border Guard Command, the Tho Quang Fishing Port and Wharf Management Board and the People's Committees of localities to guide fishermen to implement solutions and measures, and arrange permanent forces for fire prevention and fighting when anchoring boats to avoid storms at Tho Quang Wharf and Man Quang Bay, to prevent fires and explosions; to ensure security, order, and safety of State and People's assets.

Da Nang Maritime Port Authority inspects and reviews anchoring to ensure safety for cargo ships and transport ships when anchoring in Da Nang Bay.

The Department of Construction and the People's Committees of districts continue to ensure safety for trees; preside over and coordinate with relevant units to direct the continued implementation of flood prevention and control plans, clear drainage ditches, and handle water collection pits.

People's Committees of districts and towns mobilize people to clear and not obstruct the flow of canals and water intakes in front of their houses to improve drainage efficiency.
