On May 23, the Department of Industry and Trade of Da Nang in coordination with Song Da company and other units organized a workshop on "Green transformation, digital transformation, renewable energy certification in the trend of sustainable development, reducing greenhouse gas emissions".
Speaking at the program, Mr. Nguyen Van Tru - Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of Da Nang City said that for Da Nang, the center of the Central key economic region, green transformation, digital transformation and renewable energy development are always identified as strategic directions.
The city has been implementing programs to support businesses in digital transformation, build smart factories, develop rooftop solar energy and pilot a green electricity certification mechanism.
According to experts, climate change is becoming a global challenge, forcing countries to accelerate the search for and application of green, sustainable energy sources. The conversion from traditional energy sources to renewable energy - especially solar energy - not only contributes to minimizing negative impacts on the environment, but also opens up opportunities for long-term economic development.

At the workshop, experts provided useful knowledge about technology, features and safety standards in the field of solar power. In particular, the presentation of new regulations on renewable energy power and procedures for registering for solar power development, how to install and operate solar power attracted much attention.
In the context of increasing electricity prices and demand for electricity, integrated storage solar power systems are considered a smart solution to help households save costs and reduce dependence on the power grid. This is an important step towards a green and sustainable life.
The workshop shared useful knowledge on the issue of Green Transformation and the latest policies on solar power according to Decree 58/2025/ND-CP through the following presentations: Instructions for registration procedures, mechanisms for developing solar power according to Decree No. 58.
