In the near future, DSEZA will receive 3 operating industrial parks and 10 planned industrial parks in Quang Nam province, expanding the scope of operation according to the new development space of Da Nang.

At the end of April 2025, the People's Committee of Da Nang City issued a Decision (No. 30,) - on changing and adding functions to the DSEZA Management Board to directly manage the state of Da Nang Free Trade Zone.
This Decision replaces previous decisions on regulations on functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Management Board of Da Nang High-Tech Park and Industrial Parks, a unit under the City People's Committee.
The Management Board of Da Nang High-Tech Park and Industrial Parks will perform the function of direct state management of Da Nang High-Tech Park, industrial parks, Concentrated Information Technology Parks and add the function of managing Da Nang Free Trade Zone.
This Board is responsible for receiving, guiding, organizing testing and applying results of programs, projects, scientific and technological tasks of the city, national and international scientific and technological tasks on high technology; testing and piloting policies for high -tech development, high -tech parks and free trade areas; Appraisal, approval and approval of adjustment of planning tasks, detailed construction planning, planning of construction zoning of free commercial areas and functional areas in Da Nang Free Trade Area.
