On March 31, the leader of the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee signed a document requesting the health sector to speed up the progress of measles vaccination for people.
The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Health to preside over and coordinate with departments, branches and People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to effectively implement expanded immunization work.
The health sector must promptly complete vaccination for children who have not been vaccinated or have not been vaccinated with enough measles vaccines according to regulations.
According to the Center for Disease Control (CDC) of Dak Lak province, the unit has provided 25,000 doses of Measles - Rubella vaccine to localities.
Of which, children aged 1 to 5 were given 9,750 doses, children aged 6 to 10 were given 15,250 doses.
