Dak Nong - With the determination to cover the vacant land, the province will plant 73,000 trees in 2025 with a total cost of more than 1 billion VND.

The Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee has just approved a plan to plant 73,000 scattered trees, equivalent to 73 hectares.

Krong No district was chosen as a highlight in this green plan, with 66 hectares of trees allocated to 12 communes and towns.

In addition, the Provincial Military Command will also contribute with 7 hectares of trees, creating a movement spreading throughout the province.

Dak Nong allocated more than 1 billion VND from forest environmental service sources managed by the Provincial Agricultural and Environmental Fund to implement the above plan.

This money will be used to buy seedlings, fertilizers and other costs related to planting and caring for trees.

The planting period is expected to start from June 2025 and last until the end of the rainy season.
