On April 17, the Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee issued an official dispatch requesting departments, People's Committees of districts, Gia Nghia city and forest owners in the province to focus on forest management, protection and forest fire prevention and fighting (PCCCR) in the process of arranging administrative units.
The Provincial People's Committee directs to enhance the role and responsibility of heads of agencies and localities in forest management, protection and PCCCR.
Units must fully perform their assigned functions and tasks, ensure continuous operation, and avoid delays.
Cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers need to strictly comply with administrative discipline. Do not let subjects take advantage of the time to reorganize administrative units and the April 30 and 1.5 holidays to commit illegal acts such as deforestation or encroachment on forest land.
Localities and units continue to strictly implement documents directing forest management, protection and PCCCR, ensuring permanent forces at forest management posts and stations.
Improve patrol and inspection work, promptly detect violations of the Forestry Law, especially during the dry season and upcoming holidays. It is necessary to ensure that forest fire fighting vehicles and materials are always ready.
Implement well the coordination regulations between authorities at all levels, forest rangers, police and related units in forest protection and fire prevention and fighting.
Verify and investigate violations with signs of crime in the forestry sector to strictly handle them according to regulations.
