On November 8, according to Hung Yen Provincial Police, through reviewing and grasping the situation on cyberspace, Quang Lich Commune Police discovered a personal Facebook account posting an article with unverified content, causing negative impacts on social networks, related to the responsibility to protect citizens.
Immediately after the discovery, the Commune Police promptly verified and invited Mr. L.H.L (born in 1971), a freelancer, residing in Quang Lich Commune, Hung Yen Province - the owner of the above Facebook account to the headquarters for questioning.
At the police station, Mr. L.H.L admitted that due to limited awareness, he posted an unverified article on his personal page on November 3, 2025. Commune Police officers have guided, explained and combined propaganda to help citizens clearly understand the nature and extent of violations when posting false or unverified information. After the meeting, Mr. L.H.L voluntarily removed the article and wrote a commitment not to repeat the offense.

Considering that the citizen violated the law for the first time and did not cause serious consequences, Quang Lich Commune Police requested Mr. L.H.L to strictly comply with the provisions of the law in using social networks.
Through the above incident, Quang Lich Commune Police recommends that people should raise awareness when participating in social networks; absolutely do not post, share, or comment on untrue or toxic information; be vigilant, do not disseminate unverified information or information with stimulating or dividing content; at the same time, actively spread official information, promptly refute false arguments. Before posting, it is necessary to verify information through official sources to avoid violating the law.
In the coming time, Quang Lich Commune Police will continue to strengthen the review and grasp of the situation on cyberspace, promptly detect and strictly handle organizations and individuals who take advantage of social networks to spread fake news, untrue information, distort, slander or insult the reputation of agencies and organizations, causing panic among the people, negatively affecting security and order in the locality.
