According to Hung Yen Provincial Police, on August 20, A Sao Commune Police discovered and handled a citizen in the area using a personal Facebook account to share a video with bad, toxic content and false information on social networks.
Through a review on cyberspace, A Sao Commune Police discovered that the Facebook account "D.T.M" shared a video with bad, toxic, and untrue content related to the promulgation of the Party and State's policies and guidelines on environmental protection in the field of urban transport.
Immediately after discovering the violation, A Sao Commune Police deployed professional measures to verify. The account holder was identified as Ms. D.T.M (born in 1975), residing in Long Khe 2 village, A Sao commune, Hung Yen province. Ms. M was invited to the police headquarters to work.
Here, Ms. M admitted to the violation, stating that the cause was due to lack of knowledge and limited awareness. Considering this was the first violation, good personal conduct and not causing serious consequences, the police force reminded and requested to remove all untrue content and wrote a commitment not to repeat the offense.
In the coming time, A Sao Commune Police will continue to strengthen inspection and review of activities on cyberspace, promptly detect and strictly handle cases of taking advantage of social networks to post and share fake, untrue, distorted, slanderous information or insult organizations and individuals; causing public confusion, inciting negative behavior, negatively affecting security and order in the locality.
