Accelerate the implementation of many important transport infrastructure projects in Hung Yen

Hung Yen - Provincial leaders request to accelerate the progress of key transport projects and complete inter-regional connectivity infrastructure.

On May 25, Mr. Pham Quang Ngoc - Provincial Party Secretary and Mr. Nguyen Manh Quyen - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired a meeting of the Provincial People's Committee to listen to and give opinions on the implementation of a number of important transport projects in the area.

At the meeting, the Department of Construction reported on the plan to implement the planning of the North-South axis road from Ring Road 3.5 to the coastal area of Hung Yen province and the road connecting Hung Yen province with Gia Binh airport.

Construction Investment Project Management Board No. 2 also reported some difficulties and obstacles in the process of deploying investment in the construction of the road from Thai Binh ward to Hung Ha commune and the road from Pho Hien ward to Hung Ha commune.

Based on the discussion opinions of delegates, Mr. Pham Quang Ngoc and Mr. Nguyen Manh Quyen proposed that departments, agencies, branches, and localities promote the spirit of responsibility, strengthen coordination, closely monitor in directing and operating; promptly remove difficulties and obstacles arising in the project implementation process.

At the same time, units need to urge contractors to focus manpower and equipment, accelerate the construction progress of key transport projects, promote disbursement of public investment capital, and contribute to the socio-economic development of the province.

Provincial leaders basically agreed with the proposals raised at the meeting, and at the same time requested departments, branches, Construction Investment Project Management Board No. 2 and consulting units to continue to review and complete the route plan, investment scale, ensuring synchronicity, inter-regional connection and in accordance with the socio-economic development orientation of the province.

Along with that, units need to accelerate the completion of dossiers and procedures to implement projects according to the plan.

Regarding the investment project to build the road from Pho Hien ward to Hung Ha commune, provincial leaders and delegates gave opinions on 3 architectural options for the Luoc River overpass and traffic organization solutions at some important intersections.

The opinions suggested that departments, branches and consulting units continue to research, absorb, and select appropriate plans, ensuring technical and artistic requirements, while harmonizing with the cultural and tourism space of Pho Hien area and Long Hung commune.

In addition, departments, branches, and localities are required to strengthen coordination with neighboring provinces and cities in researching inter-regional transport infrastructure connection plans; and at the same time review land funds, creating resources to serve investment in key projects in the coming time.
