On May 25, information from the Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee, Vice Chairman of the Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Sinh just signed a document conveying the direction of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee on continuing to accelerate the progress of reviewing, handling, and removing difficulties and obstacles for backlog and prolonged projects in the area.
Accordingly, the Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee assigned departments, agencies, branches; Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board; Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board No. 1; Lao Cai Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board and People's Committees of communes and wards to continue to thoroughly review and classify each project according to groups of causes, authority and priority level of handling.
Agencies and units must clearly define the responsibilities of relevant collectives and individuals; propose roadmaps and specific solutions to remove obstacles for each project, ensuring compliance with legal regulations, not legitimizing violations, and preventing loss, waste, and negativity from arising.
Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee requests that the handling must ensure the progress and roadmap to definitively resolve difficult, problematic, and prolonged projects according to the direction of the Central Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption, Wastefulness, and Negative Phenomena; the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee.
Implementation results must be periodically reported to the Provincial Inspectorate, Department of Construction and Department of Finance before the 15th of each month.
Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Finance and the Department of Construction to summarize and advise on solutions for difficult, problematic, and prolonged projects; report to the Provincial Inspectorate before the 18th of each month.
The Provincial Inspectorate is responsible for reviewing, summarizing, and advising the Provincial People's Committee on handling plans; and at the same time preparing a report on the results of reviewing and handling projects to report to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee before the 25th of each month.
Notably, the Provincial Inspectorate is assigned to preside over thematic inspections for prolonged backlog projects under the direction of the Government Inspectorate, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
In which, focusing on inspecting 4 projects belonging to Database System 751 and 5 projects proposed by agencies and localities.
