On February 8, the Construction Investment Project Management Board of Tam Thang ward said that it had proposed to competent authorities to dismantle the hard median strip between Le Hong Phong extended road (Vung Tau ward).
Previously, the process of implementing the expansion of Tam Thang square (Thuy Van Park) had dismantled a short section of the median strip on this road section, and proceeded to pave stone synchronously with the entire square area.
However, realizing the necessity of creating a smooth axis from Dai Liet Si roundabout to Tam Thang square, the unit proposed to dismantle the entire median strip on Le Hong Phong extended road (outside the Thuy Van square project). After dismantling, it is possible to study asphalt concrete paving, or paving the entire section of this road with stone for synchronization.

The Department of Construction has also conducted a survey and agreed with the above proposal, and reported to the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee for consideration and direction. A leader of the Department of Construction said that the Le Hong Phong extended road is also being studied and considered towards establishing the second pedestrian street of Ho Chi Minh City in the near future.
Currently, the Tam Thang Ward Construction Investment Project Management Board is organizing to collect opinions from relevant parties on dismantling the hard median strip and organizing traffic to ensure safety in the area when implementing.
