On January 6, the Department of Culture and Information of Vung Tau City said that the locality has developed a plan to organize programs and a series of events to celebrate the Lunar New Year of At Ty 2025.
Vung Tau City plans to organize fireworks to welcome the New Year at one location on New Year's Eve in the Front Beach area, Vung Tau City, but there will be a change in location.
In previous years, the fireworks display location was usually in the sea area, opposite Quang Trung flower garden. This year, the fireworks display location will be at the fountain area of Bai Truoc park (opposite Thong Nhat street and cluster 5 land).
The reason is that Quang Trung flower garden area will be used to organize art programs and music festivals to welcome the new year.
"The new fireworks display location has only been moved a few hundred meters from before, so it will not affect people and tourists enjoying the fireworks to welcome the New Year," said the leader of the Department of Culture and Information.
According to the plan, on New Year's Eve in Vung Tau, there will be a series of cultural and artistic events starting at 7pm. Starting with the Lion Dance and Dragon Dance performance, which set a Vietnamese record; performances by singers, modern dance groups, bands... lasting until 10pm.
Next is the "Real Connection" Grand Concert with the participation of famous artists, performances by Kay Tran, Quang Hung MasterD; DJ Rin... lasting from 10-12pm. And at exactly 0am on January 29, brilliant fireworks will light up the sky, opening a colorful start to the new year of At Ty 2025.
