On August 2, the Youth Union coordinated with Thanh Dong Ward Police (Hai Phong City) to organize a conference to promote the prevention of fraud in cyberspace and drug crimes for 50 youth union members.
With vivid and practical content, the conference equipped union members with basic knowledge about sophisticated forms of fraud that are increasingly popular in cyberspace.
Notable are tricks such as impersonating police, prosecutors, post office staff, shippers to threaten, scam money transfers; impersonating relatives and friends to borrow money; or fraud through investment applications, online games and social networks. In addition, union members were warned about the harmful effects of drugs and tricks to lure teenagers.
The conference helped youth union members improve their skills in identifying, preventing crimes, protecting themselves and the community. Thereby, contributing to ensuring security and order, building a safe and healthy online environment
