On June 5, the Quang Tri Reporter Football Team organized a program to visit and give gifts to children living at SOS Children's Village Dong Hoi.
Dong Hoi SOS Children's Village was started construction in early 2004 and completed and put into operation in 2006. At the program, representatives of the Quang Tri Reporter Football Team presented 10 million VND to encourage and provide material and spiritual support to the children. The gift shows the concern and sharing of journalists for children in difficult circumstances, contributing to adding motivation for them to strive to rise up in their studies and life.
Charity activities have profound humanistic meaning, and at the same time show the sportsmanship associated with social responsibility, towards the community of the team members.
After the program, the Quang Tri Reporter Football Team will depart to participate in the 12th Central Vietnam Press Football Tournament, taking place in Ha Tinh.
