Providing information at the conference, Mr. Tan Minh Long - Chairman of the Dien Bien Provincial Labor Federation said that, implementing the organizational arrangement of the Provincial Labor Federation, the directly superior grassroots trade union issued decisions to dissolve and terminate the operation of 828 grassroots trade unions (CĐCS) with 24,127 union members in administrative and non-business agencies receiving 100% salary from the state budget.
At the same time, the Provincial Labor Federation established 3 commune and ward trade unions directly under the Provincial Labor Federation and decided to assign commune and ward trade unions to manage grassroots trade unions in the area.
After arrangement and merger, currently the whole province has 7,131 trade union members, operating in 72 grassroots trade unions.
Mr. Tan Minh Long emphasized that in the process of arranging the organizational structure, press agencies have always accompanied and promptly reflected the innovation efforts of the Trade Union organization.
In 2026, leaders of the Dien Bien Provincial Labor Federation hope that press agencies will continue to accompany the Trade Union organization in promptly reflecting the lives and jobs of workers, food safety and hygiene, and spreading emulation movements and advanced examples.
On this occasion, the Provincial Labor Federation awarded Certificates of Merit to 2 collectives and 10 individuals with outstanding achievements in propaganda work for workers, civil servants, laborers and trade union activities in 2025.
Among them, 2 Lao Dong Newspaper reporters were honored to receive 2 Certificates of Merit from the Dien Bien Provincial Labor Federation for their outstanding achievements in propaganda work.
