On January 26, Thuan An Border Guard Station, Lam Dong Provincial Border Guard received 3 air guns (CPC) voluntarily handed over by people in Thuan An commune.
The above weapons were received through the promotion of propaganda and mobilization of people to strictly comply with the provisions of law on the management and use of weapons, explosives and supporting tools.

The citizens who voluntarily submitted include: Mr. Nguyen Van Huy (born in 1984, residing in Dak Tam village), Mr. Truong Minh Tu (born in 1986, residing in Duc Hoa village) and Mr. Y N'Ter (born in 1993, residing in Sa Pa village).
The three citizens directly brought 3 air guns to Thuan An Border Guard Station to hand over. After receiving them, the unit prepared documents, managed and handled the weapons in accordance with the law.
According to Thuan An Border Guard Station, the above results show the clear effectiveness of propaganda and mobilization of the people that the unit has persistently implemented in the past time.

Propaganda work is carried out in many flexible forms, suitable to the characteristics of the area such as direct propaganda in villages and hamlets; integrating legal dissemination in community activities and people's meetings.
Through this, the border guard force clarified the dangers and harms of illegal possession and use of weapons, explosives and supporting tools for security and social order.
Thanks to this approach, people's awareness and law compliance have gradually been improved. Many households have proactively and voluntarily handed over their remaining weapons, contributing to preventing violations right from the grassroots level.
In the coming time, Thuan An Border Guard Station will continue to promote propaganda and mobilize the masses to participate in preventing and combating all kinds of crimes.
Thereby building a solid all-people border defense posture, maintaining political security and social order and safety in the border area.
