On May 14, the Office of Dong Thap People's Committee said that Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Tri Quang assigned the Management Board of the Economic Zone and the Department of Construction to promptly organize the launch of the Contest for recruiting the architectural plan of Quoc Mon construction project under the Investment Project on construction of Thuong Phuoc International Border Gate infrastructure and Moc Ra border gate of Dong Thap border gate economic zone as prescribed. Construction location at Thuong Phuoc International Border Gate, Thuong Phuoc 1 Commune, Hong Ngu District, Dong Thap Province.
The contest aims to select optimal architectural options, meeting the requirements of planning, architecture, socio-economic efficiency, national defense, security, environmental protection and at the same time must have a dignified and solemn appearance, expressing the characteristics of Vietnamese culture, harmoniously combined with indigenous cultural elements; expressing national independence and being a symbol of friendship and solidarity with neighboring countries; at the same time expressing the characteristics of Vietnamese people's culture in general, Dong Thap province in particular.
According to the contest's regulations, except for units with members who are members of the contest's Organizing Committee or in the Architectural Planning and Construction Competition Council, Supporting Technical Team or other subjects related to the contest's organization, all domestic organizations, units... with sufficient professional capacity and practice according to the provisions of current regulations are eligible to participate in the contest.
Each participating unit can only participate in a maximum of 2 products; in case of already participating in the form of a consortium, only 1 product can be participated. The implementation time is expected to take place in the second quarter of 2025. The organizing committee awards the winning units after being approved by competent authorities.
