On October 23, the Standing Committee of the People's Council of Hung Yen province held a joint meeting with the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and relevant agencies to agree on the content, program, and time to hold the Regular Session at the end of 2025 of the 17th Provincial People's Council, term 2021 - 2026.
The regular meeting at the end of 2025 of the People's Council of Hung Yen province is scheduled to take place over two days (December 8 - 9, 2025) at the Provincial Convention Center. Mr. Tran Quoc Van - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council - chaired an inter-residential meeting to prepare for the session.
As planned, the Session will review and discuss nearly 30 important contents. Including reports from the Provincial People's Committee on the socio-economic development situation in 2025 and the plan for 2026; budget collection, expenditure, public investment, corruption prevention, citizen reception, complaint and denunciation settlement, thrift practice, and waste prevention.
In addition, there are reports from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, the People's Court, the People's Procuracy and the Provincial Civil Judgment Enforcement Department.
The session will also give opinions and approve many important submissions and draft resolutions such as: Principles, criteria and norms for allocating regular expenditure estimates to local budgets in 2026; decentralizing revenue sources and expenditure tasks between budget levels; 5-year financial plan for the period 2026 - 2030; regulating policies to attract and promote talent; land price list applicable from January 1, 2026; along with mechanisms and policies to support the development of science - technology, protecting rice-growing land...
At the session, the Provincial People's Council will conduct questioning and answering questions, focusing on issues of concern to voters and people; at the same time, considering the report summarizing voters' opinions, recommendations, inspection reports of the Provincial People's Council Committees and a number of other important contents.
Concluding the meeting, Mr. Tran Quoc Van agreed to submit to the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee for consideration and comments on the plan for the content of the program and the time to hold the regular meeting, as well as the extraordinary meeting scheduled for mid-November 2025 to resolve urgent work.
Mr. Van suggested that the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council fully absorb opinions, coordinate with the Provincial People's Committee and related units to complete the dossier and documents to submit to the Session on time; orient the content of the questions to be correct and relevant, issues of public and public concern; carefully prepare conditions to successfully organize the Sessions, contributing to promoting the successful implementation of the socio-economic development goals in 2026 and the next period.
